I was looking for a male therapist because the several times I was in therapy over the years it has always been with woman. To be clear, I respect women in general, but I had a personal male issue which I wanted to speak to a man about. I tried finding a male therapist, but my first appointment with a man didn't go well. After a few weeks I looked again, and read some good things about Jean Freer. When we met, I felt pretty okay about it. She was kind and easy to speak too. Not immediately, but pretty soon I felt it would be okay for me to speak about my personal issue. The more I spoke, the more confident I felt that Ms. Freer was listening and understanding in a kind and supportive way. In just a few sessions I was talking pretty openly. I look forward to more meetings. I am VERY GRATEFUL!
