Hello, Dr. Jen here. It is super hard to be a psychologist and have ratings online. We take an oath to do NO harm. However, for some clients harm is seen through their own filters. For example, for some people, coming to insight can be scary, and often there is anger that’s displaced onto a therapist because it is safer. For some, they have attachment wounds that make relating challenging and if they feel abandoned by a therapist, it is painful. No matter what, you are entitled to all your feelings. They are valid. Ideally therapy is a safe and trusting space, but sometimes it’s hard for people to feel that until they have some more healing under their belt. I’m glad you’re here. Keep going. Also, HIPPA is important and I’d never violate it. However, these reviews are by people from Instagram I’ve never heard of in my life.
