I saw Dr. Jessica Harvey-Taylor in the emergency room at St. David's South Austin. I have ovarian cancer and am about to have surgery and I came in for extreme pain. She was so kind and also so thorough. She did not simply take it for granted that the pain was due to the cancer but checked me over thoroughly. She quickly reassured me that she would help to ease the pain...words for which I was tremendously grateful. And she did exactly that. She also continued to check on me through the evening.
