Dr Showalter is thorough, kind and compassionate. I've never experienced such care and compassion from a health care provider in any field! Plus, I was a new patient at my first visit when her diligent concern uncovered a not so common type of glaucoma that could've robbed me off my eye sight. The specialist told me her diagnosis was spot on and just 5 days later I'm having surgery by a specialist.
