Joanne has a very calm , non-judgmental and open demeanor that immediately creates a climate conducive to building a trusting, strong therapeutic bond. She remains engaged with you and your "story" and your needs and concerns. Joanne is a master at helping you believe you have been heard and what you feel matters. She is most adept at helping you re-frame negative constructs into positives and helping move you along out of "stuck" places onto healthier paths. She is not bossy or authoritarian, her approach being more like a coach or guide with a great deal of experience in leading you to see things you may not have wanted to look at, just might have missed or believed you were not able to handle when you truly could. She has excellent intuition about timing, when to press and when to let things unfold in their own time, which is an absolutely essential tool of a highly skilled mental therapist, which Joanne Kuchera , indeed, is.
