After searching around and having a few 'just fine' matches, I am very happy to have found Joel. He is easy to talk to and let's me set the dialogue and pace of our meetings. I particularly like that he uses appropriate humor as a way to make the occasional point. It's nice to have levity and some laughs, even when discussing serious topics. He listens to me earnestly and gives me good things to think about or read until our next session which is helpful for me to keep applying the things we are talking about rather than just rushing to the next thing on my to do list. My mental health has improved and my overall stress decreased since starting our work together.
