John Marchini literally saved my life. Patient and quiet, he allowed me to voice my concerns and was always able to halt my anxious ruminating with just a phrase or question. He offered me many suggestions that might be outside normal systems of therapy, and I never felt shamed or judged. Working together, we accomplished so much in terms of changing and challenging core beliefs through EMDR. There is no 'one size fits all' approach when going through therapy, and I was very hesitant to work with a male therapist, but I am so fortunate to have been able to meet a man who was such a perfect fit for what I needed. He is a powerful advocate and a great listener.
