I presented to the ER with upper abdominal pain that felt like a gallbladder attack (though my gallbladder had been removed 2 years prior). Jonathan did not downplay my concerns even though my pain had already subsided by the time I saw him. He listened with care, then gave very informative information. I believe his initial assessment gave legs to the remainder of my care and ultimate resolution. I hope not to ever be in the ER again, but if I am... I hope it's Jonathan's shift! By the way, it *was* one of the two things Jonathan suggested: a gallstone stuck in the bile duct.
