PA Simi (Valdez) is one of the only two people I trust to effectively administer my (this website says I'm not allowed to say what kind) injections every 10 weeks. I cycle between her and Dr. Engel. She always has the sunniest of dispositions, takes her time reviewing my records and asking me about how my health has been, and knows exactly how much and exactly where to place each and every injection. Jo is caring, compassionate, and a great provider. One thing that especially stands out to me is that every appointment I have, she remembers that by the time I'm at my appointment, I'm back into the photo-sensitive stage and she turns off the lights as soon as she clears the door. The fact that she remembers that speaks volumes about her patient engagement. Jo- if you're reading this, thank you for being the provider you are. You are very much appreciated.
