An honest person, possessing compassion, empathy, and kindness. The most patient, understanding, and encouraging doctor I've met. He'd guided me through the worst episode of panic attacks imaginable. At a time when I could barely exit my house without anxiety and struggled to even drive a few miles from my home: he never shamed me; he never scolded me; he never made me feel silly or embarrassed. He listened to me, he helped me formulate a 'plan of attack' - confronting that which burdened me, and allowed for re-acquiring control (ie: over my fears, over my heart rate, etc.). He neither pushes nor prods... instead seeming to proverbially 'hold the hand' of those in need - whether facing a particular struggle, or their future, generally. In short: being a God-send, Dr. Scheidle helped me learn to live again.
