I saw Karen for two years in high school while I was struggling to overcome the long-lasting effects of an abusive alcoholic parent. She not only helped me work through my PTSD, anxiety, and depression, she also gave me the tools I needed to keep myself in a healthy mental state after our sessions were over. I have not gone to see a therapist in over a year because she taught me how to be mentally healthy, how to recognize if I was going downhill, and how to pull myself out of a bad mental state. Karen is what every therapist should be. I would give her 6 stars if I could.
