I first became aquainted w Dr McElveen when she practiced in Columbia some years ago. At one exam, she found a lesion and referred me to a retinal specialist. During his exam he asked what doctor found what where... At last he, too, located the spot. Dr Retina expressed absolute amazement at the throughness of an Optometrist. I smiled. Now. I drive gladly, 200 miles round trip to be checked by Dr Karen.
