Katie helped me re-establish myself after my life was devastated by domestic violence and stalking. She never pushed me too far, but would always keep us on track and moving in the direction of my personal goals (which she helped me identify). She made me feel comfortable enough to joke/keep the conversation light (which I prefer) while discussing some horrible things that I experienced. Even when I was embarrassed about my feelings, actions, or unconventional source of income, Katie never batted an eye or seemed to judge me. She also suggested EMDR to me which, although it sounds like magic when described, helped me tremendously. Thanks to Katie, I am now able to move forward with my life both professionally and personally and recognize my feelings as information to help me understand what is going on around me, rather than things I should be afraid of/avoid. I could go on and on about how excellent Katie is, but make an appointment and see for yourself!
