First and foremost, Kay Newman has been my therapist for several years. She is the best there is. When she sees an injustice being done, Kay Newman is the ally anyone would want in his or her corner. She is very smart and picks up on nuances very quickly, when others do not. Human beings are complicated and often times find themselves in emotionally charged situations such as a divorce. Kay Newman is exceptionally smart and is able to filter out all of the outside noise and hone in on answers that most therapists and even specialists are incapable of doing themselves.That being said, I would like to address the one star review that immediately precedes mine. Anyone who can read between the lines realizes that the problem that this individual has with Kay Newman is that Kay did not tell her what she wanted to hear. I have also seen that same comic strip. It is widely used by many different therapists. What it actually says is different and is being misrepresented.
