Kisten is very knowledgeable about the body and its various injuries and misalignments. Her physical therapy is based on many years of study and practice, and the sense of trust she builds because of that experience contributes to a patient's openness to the healing process. Visualization is a vital aspect of healing, and Kisten shows patients where their injuries are on models and charts to enable them to see how the injury can be healed. Her hands-on work brings one's attention to the injured area through massage and gentle pressure. The exercises she prescribes extend the treatments she gives in the clinic. Her bedside manner is comforting, confident and a strong personal connection.
