Dr. Beetham incorporated many small comments that made a mountain of a difference in my care such as, 'it's your medical decision,' 'even if I didn't feel anything during an exam, the fact that you're in pain is enough to mean something is wrong,' 'these questions are just standard procedure and doing our due diligence, but I'm committed to providing the care that both of us together think is the best fit for you,' checking in on my husband's opinion for an appropriate length of time and intensity but still maintaining me as the primary person to talk to, and so many other gestures. I would describe her as kind and experienced and very confident in her medical background, and all of these factors together make her the ideal provider any woman could possibly ask for. Ladies, if you're tired of your pain being dismissed or your medical decisions being berated, this is the woman to turn to.
