I was Kuanwu’s patient while I was a student at U of I. Kuanwu listened to my challenges, asked the right questions and helped me come to realization of things I never woyld have on my own. I remember one time I came to his office after binge eating in the morning and walked into the room wearing a hat. He asked me why I was wearing a hat and said I was covering myself when I felt shame. It was a transformative moment for me to recognize my own behaviors and my relationships around shame. Kuanwu helped me through very challenging times and I am very grateful. My life is better because of his help. Whoever gets to work with Kuanwu is lucky. I highly recommend him.
