I have seen Laurel off and on since 1996 and I've tried other therapists in between when I didn't live local to her office. She has been the only one who ever actually provided me relief from my cPTSD and the difficult events that were occurring. While I am not a huge fan of Telehealth, I am so grateful that she does this so I could see her recently. Her use of EMDR in the past along with IFS recently has been life changing for me. She has helped me process my trauma and change the old behaviors that were no longer serving me. Every session I found some sort of nugget to understand how things affected my brain, and almost always had a new way to cope with the issue we were working on that session. After a year and a half of IFS, I felt confident enough to end my sessions and I know that whenever life throws another curve ball at me and I need help, she will make herself available to me. She has always been accommodating and kind. I highly recommend her!
