For those looking for a therapist, Individual, couples, family, short-term or more extensive long-term therapy: I am writing this referral to offer my strongest recommendation of Leah Pressman PhD. I have known Dr. Pressman for over 2 decades. We were colleagues at UCLA for 10 years working in inpatient psychiatry with adolescents and young adults. Dr. Pressman's positive relationships with her patients of all backgrounds and the amazing progress they made always impressed me. As an RN, MSN, Clinical Nurse Specialist I have had opportunities to refer patients to Dr. Pressman. She has worked with people with complicated problems and the results I have seen are remarkable. She specializes in various therapeutic techniques including CBT, DBT, psychodynamic, and attachment therapies. Dr. Pressman works with preteens, adolescents, and adults struggling with stress anxiety, depression, eating disorders, body image issues, dealing with loss, relationships, sexuality, gender, and self-esteem
