I was one of Dr. Leslee Browning's patients when she began working at the Charlie Norwood VA Hospital. Her approach to therapy and passion for Veterans with PTSD was one of kind in regards to the care she provided me. Dr. Browning knew how to professionally connect with me and assist me in learning how to manage my complex PTSD symptoms. I existed on a slippery slope of suicide for may months and her commitment to my treatment is why I still exist today. Unfortunately (for me), Dr. Browning moved on with her career to treat Active Duty Service Members instead of Veterans. Although saddened that I lost her as my therapist, I am very happy that she chose to work with the Active Duty Service Members. She will be an amazing asset wherever her career leads. Thank you Dr. Browning for the compassion, empathy and dedication you showed me in some of my most darkest of hours.
