I have seen many therapists in the last 4 years and I was close to quitting altogether because I felt like I was not truly being seen and heard, nor did I ever feel like I was building a solid and trustworthy relationship enough to fully be honest without being judged which is crucial in the journey of healing. Thankfully, I found Dr. Comin and she is truly an incredible compassionate therapist. I appreciate her sharing her own struggles and how SHE DID THE WORK TOO in order to overcome them because it made her relatable unlike other therapists who rarely share and make you wonder if they even ever struggled, have gone through trauma, and/or practiced what they preached. She is extremely knowledgeable both in the clinical side and holistic approaches to reach a balanced healthy lifestyle. Had it not been for her honesty in every session and helping me set intentions that later manifested within me, I would not have been able to find myself, forgive, myself, and learn to love myself.
