Dr. Duthier is a true healthcare professional. I was assigned to her as a patient for individual therapy. Still, she thoroughly reviewed my overall health concerns and helped me obtain referrals for other types of care that I needed because she felt that my overall health was critical to my mental health. Yes, she ensured I received top-notch care from the entire care team; I have never felt such compassion from another doctor. I came to her office after years of attempting to start down the road of improving my mental health. I was shifted here and there in different programs before I finally reached her, and I was not confident that I would get any genuine assistance. However, by our 3rd meeting, she had engaged me in a healthy dialogue, and I feel truly blessed that the Veterans Administration has her working with Veterans with PTSD. I appreciate the fact that she did not give up on me and stuck with the program that allowed me to open up to what happened to me during my career.
