I’ve been seeing Lisa for some months now. I really enjoy her style, her knowledge, and the knowledge she wants me to have as well. She’s thorough but can also keep things light-hearted when necessary. She definitely cares whole-heartedly about the people she sees. I’ve learned and grown a lot since seeing her and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a therapist.
Comfort is #1. Why should talking to someone be so daunting? At Myh Library, you'll be as comfortable as sitting in a friend's home sipping coffee together. At Begin To Wake Therapy, you WILL be in your own home and feel free to sip coffee while we chat (decaf recommended for those with anxiety problems). Wrap up in a blanket if that makes you happy. Shoot, I'll have one for those who come to Myh Library to see me in person. And please have a sense of humor (except depressed people, that's understandable), otherwise I'll accidentally offend you repeatedly with mine.
I approach therapy like it's a 50/50 partnership. You have been you sitting in your skin for your whole life. That makes you an expert in you. I went to school & have worked in this field for over 20 yrs. Hopefully, that makes me an expert in what I do. If we can bring your expertise together with mine, I think together we can create the vehicle to drive you sane! Oh wait, am I allowed to say that as a therapist? ?
