Ms. Simons has been my counselor for some time because she is a respectful listener as well as a fine problem-solver. Unless you are in crisis and need immediate rescue, her approach is to let you ASK for her opinion, which I find refreshing. She offers new perspectives that are informed, creative, and insightful. When I have had emergencies, she has seen to my safety with appropriate levels of persuasion, and action. She has worked me into her schedule with a same-day phone call when I needed that degree of support. Ms. Simons shows a rare degree of concern for her patients.
