I saw several ineffective counselors before I found Lorrie. Lorrie was tuff and smart, and I love her for it! Over a period of several years, she fit me into her schedule anytime when I had an urgent need. She helped me protect myself and my young kids during a process that eventually brought about the tragic but necessary end of my first marriage. My then-wife, whose company I had long cherished, developed a personality disorder with a complicated set of delusions and hallucinations that made her unloving and unlovable. It was a real-life nightmare, and I shed a lot of tears through the process that finally ended in breaking away. Lorrie became like my clear-thinking older sister, and I hate to think how those complicated events would have played out differently – badly – if not for her good sense, sense that she honed with much practice over her long career. Thank goodness there are competent professionals in the world like Lorrie!
