I have a functional neurological disorder where I spoke fine for 63 years then suddenly I had slurred speech. Lucia listens to your issues and applies a rational common-sense approach to improving my speech. Every session Lucia asked, “Well how’s it going?” Being candid I’d discuss instances where I stumbled with/slurred my speech since the last session. Lucia would introduce a tool that, made sense and with practice, would improve my speech. I will never speak the way I once did due to my disorder. Because of Lucia, I now have multiple tools to practice and more importantly, to use on a real-time basis that improve my speech. Life changing. I have hope.
