I am a white non-Hispanic Catholic male, middle-aged, with few physical health issues, quite minor things. I chose the Valleywise clinic in Guadalupe, AZ. I did not choose Dr. Barnwell, but she assigned in lieu of my chosen PCP. However, I found her care to be excellent, her knowledge outstanding, and her adherence to all policy and procedures is admirable. Due to my Medicaid coverage there is limited availability of screening, tests, and remedies, but Dr. Barnwell is able to navigate that and select treatments which will directly address whatever complaint I had. I also encountered Dr. Barnwell on an urgent basis and she was able to confirm that I was OK to return immediately to work and not to worry too much because I was healthier than I thought! I'm thankful for the peace of mind and reassurances that my complaints and concerns are trivial and I don't require any sort of invasive or harrowing procedures.
