I've been going to Maria for a few months now with weekly sessions to address issues related to job loss, a breakup, family relationship concerns, and depression. Every session, I leave with clarity around the topics I wanted to discuss. I believe it's normal and sometimes healthy to feel worse after therapy (at least immediately) before things feel better. Opening old wounds can be difficult. But, her insights around how my family system and childhood affect my thought processes have so far left me feeling productive and more aware each week. I've been to therapy before, so I knew generally what to expect, but seeing Maria has exceeded my expectations! I'm so glad I decided to start therapy again and recommend Maria, especially for family/relationship matters.
