I have been seeing Maria for years, before the merger with lifestance before remote appointments. I saw several LMSW's before choosing Maria as my therapist. She has listened the best, respected my choices to do or not do things, and worked well with my limitations. My depression is debilitating and demanding and she works hard to make sure she can talk to me in a timely fashion during my time of crisis. She even works with my psychiatrist when I am having a hard time. I can't help but feel like anyone who says "This woman is an embarrassment to therapists." Or "She’s an empty void of nothing" are comments from someone who desperately needs help but doesn't understand what a LMSW actually does.
