I was a client of Dr. Marie Margenau-Spatz for about two years, during which time I faced significant and difficult life transitions. It is no coincidence that I also experienced immense personal and spiritual growth during these years of working with Marie. Marie is not only a fantastic psychologist and EMDR practitioner, but she is also one of the kindest, most genuine, and most compassionate individuals I have ever encountered. Her style is extremely warm, supportive, and encouraging; she truly empathizes with her clients and utilizes an individualized approach that is primarily centered on her clients' goals – rather than what she thinks would be best for her clients. I found myself feeling very empowered by this approach, feeling truly in the driver's seat with my care during our sessions.
