Ms. Pilcher was my Counselor from 2012 - 2013, in NWA. I was so very fortunate to have been led to her via the American Cancer Society, for FREE! I was in a particularly fragile emotional state. Aside from cancer, I was trying to process my OTHER health problems and a toxic personal life (aka marriage). She was wonderful! Insightful, professional, VERY sharp. More than that, though, she gave me a safe space to be completely honest with myself. She was kind and nudged me into a new & better life, sometimes in spite of myself. I know that I was led to her; meant to have her as my counselor. In the hardest of times, she was an amazing advocate and lifeline for me and truly changed my life. Now in remission (!!), whilst I still deal with chronic health issues, I am stronger & happier with my life, thanks to Ms. Pilcher. It's been seven years, and sometimes I STILL hear her voice; she's that impactful.
