Today was my first time see Martelle as a patient, after she assisted with my wife’s ankle reconstruction with Dr. Schipper (who is also awesome!), and did much of the post op care. Super beside manner for me as the caregiver post-op and as a patient for a torn calf muscle. She answered all of my questions, and I always have a lot. She also explained all of the steps of the examination and physical test to see what damage I did over the weekend. When I end up injuring something again she will be at the top of the list for providers I want to see. Not looking forward to weeks of PT, but looking forward to my six-weeks check-up, and hopefully being mostly back to where I was pre-injury. I’m pretty sure my wife feels the same way because she had a great big smile when she found out who would be taking care of me today. Thank you Martelle!
