I was lucky enough to be referred to Dr. Mary shortly after I had a brain injury. She is compassionate, encouraging, and very understanding. She came up with a therapy plan and helped me through a tough journey. She also referred me to other top-notch specialists that I needed for recovery – which are hard to find. Her understanding and ability to explain brain injuries are incredible. She took me from barely being able to leave my house to being back at work full time with therapy. My neurologist (at the time) was unable/unwilling to work with my insurance after a period of time. I was not going to get my short-term disability. Dr. Mary is the one who helped me with my appeal and got the insurance denial overturned. At that time, I was unable to look at a computer screen (I’m a computer guy) or use my brain for critical thinking. There was no way I could work. She constantly pushed me and always tried to help me stay positive and remind me it will get better. I also had a herni
