An excellent therapist who takes direction without defensiveness or judgment - will and DOES spend time with me discussing the nuts and bolts of therapy to ensure we're making the most of our time together. Takes a gentle, non-challenging approach by default, but ready for more when prompted. Private, comfortable office in a charming shady cottage. Will meet outside or online. Has a dorky sense of humor. Carefully cultivates a neutral persona for wide appeal which can be off-putting at first but is a technique, not a self-disclosure. An excellent choice for a first-time therapist and/or a weekly therapist for people who take their conditions seriously.
