We brought our daughter to Atlantic Health's Pediatric Eating Disorder Center after a 3 year long battle with Anorexia. We had tried other programs and therapists with little to no success. We were apprehensive about Overlook's family based treatment approach but desperate for help. We began working with Meghan weekly. No other therapist resonated with our daughter & us as she did. She was warm and funny and managed to deliver the hard truths in a way we could hear. My husband and I learned how and why to 'refeed' our daughter and see the illness as separate from her. My other daughter also attended some of our FBT sessions with Meghan to understand what was happening with her sister and share how it affected her too. My daughter experienced distress eating in the beginning which we learned was normal. But in time with Meghan's expert care & compassion we consider our entire family in solid recovery! We are so grateful to Overlook's program, & especially, to Dr. Meghan Feehan.
