Micheal Lynch was extremely informative, maybe more so because he had a student following him that morning. Micheal took great patience checking and double checking with the x-ray guidance to mark the precise location to insert the needle for the procedure. Cleaned the area with the badodine, then the local anesthetic so I only felt slight pressure as he inserted the needle through the L3-L4 region advancing and halting before continuing until the final step of entering the spinal cord and retrieving the vials needed for testing. Always checking with me as to my comfort. As he extracted the needle carefully, cleaned and dressed the area. Micheal was assisted and I believe she was Kelly, RT, she was instrumental when the table needed to be raised and pillow wedges were adjusted and possibly supplying and handling the vials of retrieved spinal fluid. A very positive procedure and of course I followed the post procedure guide lines. Never experienced any headache or any discomfort.
