Dr. Michael Makedonsky is an outstanding counselor and psychologist. I first went to him about 15 years ago to deal with various job related stress issues as an educator in the Grand Rapids area. I was very comfortable with his personality and his willingness to help me deal with any problem I was experiencing at the time. I not only referred fellow teachers to him when they needed help but took my teenagers to him when they had issues. He was the only therapist they actually liked and we’d been to quite a few. They benefitted from his expertise and approach. Now as adults, and once again in need of help, he was the first name that came to mind when they needed help once again. Dr. Mak has a no nonsense approach combined with a good personality and a great sense of humor which for us got the results we were looking for. Highly recommend him.
