After being a member of the VA health care system since 2009 I have had multiple PCPs. Most of them were good some of them were fair but none of them were ever really bad. My current provider is Dr Michelle Mills. She is a nurse practitioner. Very first visit she was so thorough and set me up for a lot of appointments and test that I felt that I needed all alone but the other providers did not. She is very educated. And from a lot of her statements I can tell she believes in continuing her education. I have yet to ask for a question that she really did not know. Even on some of the newer treatments and procedures. Only once did I ask her something that she had to look up. And it was extremely new. I would highly recommend her. Like I said she is very well educated. She's very nice. My wife goes in with me to the appointments and she always treats both of us with the most respect. As with most VA doctors they don't seem to stick around long but I really hope she does.
