There are very few people who have made major changes in my life. Nancy Davis is one of them. My wife and I began seeing her during a difficult period in our marriage. I confess that I was all-in for trying, but that I wasn't terribly optimistic. The difference between how we treat each other, how effectively we listen, how we have learned to express ourselves (so that we actually encourage the other to listen), and the long-term prognosis for our marriage are all extraordinarily better. I won't pretend that any therapist or counselor can make the difference solo -- it takes hard work and a commitment on the part of both people to be open and of good intention. But if that is the case, Nancy Davis can make a lasting difference. She is an exceptional listener, she is deeply resourceful, and she has the experience and expertise to help us find new means of communicating and sharing the journey. A marriage in jeopardy has become deeply gratifying. Thank you, Nancy.
