I’ve been seeing Nick for five years, and he has genuinely changed my life for the better. He wasn’t my first therapist or even the first to help with emotional dysregulation, but he is the most capable, most insightful, and most compassionate care professional I’ve ever met.When I was diagnosed eight years ago, my life was in upheaval. Careening from extreme to extreme was exhausting, my relationships were suffering, and I had resigned myself to being in 'survival mode.' Through psychotherapy and (individual & group) DBT, Nick helped me regain control of my life, little by little. He provided incredible emotional support but also accountability, when I knew I could do better for myself. He taught me to be compassionate toward life’s many greys instead of living in black-and-white extremes, to accept care and connection while also setting healthy boundaries.My life isn’t perfect, but I’m learning every day to accept its imperfect beauty, and I owe it all to Nick.
