I was referred to Ms. Ossie Pace by Dr. Silvina Irwin which speaks to Ms. Pace’s reputation. When I began seeing Ms. Pace in November of 2019, I was in the midst of a personal crisis with little hope of finding a resolution. Over the period since, I have worked with Ms. Pace and am far closer to grasping the elements of a solution. Ms. Pace has been the major reason for that progress. She has listened, patiently, asking the right question at the right time. Unlike what I have heard of many therapists, she recognizes, respects and encourages the patient (sorry, I cannot use the word client) to take full responsibility for their own healing. What she brings to the process is exceptional intelligence, a broad and deep knowledge of her field, the ability to point the patient to the right resources, the ability to engender the trust necessary for a therapist and patient to work together, extraordinary patience and a wonderful sense of humor – or at least she is willing to laugh at my
