In 2016, I had 20-20 vision, but by 2020, during my driver's license renewal, I was shocked to learn that I was 'blind' (per the little exam they give you). I struggled to cope with this decline in my vision. I initially went to a recommended eye doctor who was competent, but he lacked the ability to explain things clearly, leaving me with many questions. After he sold his practice in 2023, the new optometrist was not very attentive.After my exam with Dr. Chumley, I felt reassured. While the prescription was accurate, it was her bedside manner that truly stood out and made me question my previous diagnoses. I discovered Dr. Chumley through a Facebook group in Katy and decided to take a chance—and I'm so glad I did!She is incredibly patient, thorough, and most importantly, understanding. After my appointment, I immediately texted my brother to recommend he make an appointment with Dr. Chumley. She embodies everything you want in a doctor. I can’t recommend her highly enough.
