After many trips to the ER to address dangerously low blood pressure, we came upon Dr Pamela Maisey in the Capitol health emergency department at Deborah Heart & Lung center. After telling her how frustrated we were with not getting any answers as to WHY this was happening, she really listened and ran all the tests necessary to get to the bottom of the issue. As my mother wasn’t able to keep down any food, she was malnourished and dropping weight rapidly. As this was causing the low blood pressure, we still didn’t know the why. Dr. Maisey to the bottom of it and after having a procedure to fix the issue, my mother is finally able to keep down her food and her blood pressure is back up to normal. We’re so grateful to have had the caring ears of Dr Maisey that night because without her, my mother was severely malnourished, and literally starving to death.
