She was excellent in helping me focus on the issues I was dealing with right now. Not old daddy issues, not old relationships, but how I’m reacting to people and situations right now. She gave me concrete tools to use on a daily basis, like exercises, and articles I could take home and study. She helped me feel empowered to understand and control my feelings and reactions. I frequently took notes in our sessions. I’ve saved them and still refer to our notes and articles when I hit a rough patch.
