Paul conducted multiple counseling sessions a few years ago with our teenage child, that included our family for most sessions, due to the nature of our child's challenges. Paul's understanding and educational background in EMDR, and complex trauma, helped steer the best therapy to help our child. He wasted no time at all. Standard CBT was not working, and we needed more direct and deep trauma work. Paul employs evidence based techniques, such as EMDR. He is a clear communicator and very compassionate. Paul is able to develop trust in difficult situations and get to the bottom of problems. I noticed a previous review stated he was religious. What clients need to understand is that this practice is called Christian Professional Counseling, so it stands to reason these are Christian based therapists. If a client is not wanting a Christ based and centered therapist, then they should state something before the first session, or go to a primarily secular based counseling group.
