In my journey through various therapists over my life, I’ve been blessed with three very good counselors in a row, which is astronomical from what I hear other people say. Peggy will try to work with you, but she’ll be what you need her to be. She’ll be soft but blunt if that’s what you need. She’ll make it clear that she can’t help you if you don’t put in your end of the work, because therapy is really just about helping you help yourself, not casting magic spells that do everything for you. She’ll treat you like an adult rather than baby you, but she’s very caring and sweet. Out of the three therapists I’ve had that I appreciated, she’s the only one who is still in the area (the other two were military, so they had to leave eventually). Other therapists I’ve seen have from the start proven themselves either too caught up in their own political or religious ideas or were just useless to begin with. I highly recommend Peggy Fox if you’re looking to actually become better and are willing to do the work.
