I was in pretty deep labor (at Newton-Wellesley) by the time I met Rachel but she immediately put me at ease. She clearly and confidently talked me through my pushing contractions—and she had an incredibly calming presence. My daughter was born over a year ago and I often think about this lovely stranger that helped me deliver her!
