I had never gone to therapy before so I was very nervous and didn't know what to expect. Randy began by asking me about my family and my life and built a foundation so that I felt comfortable and I could trust him. Afterwards, we dove into the harder stuff and he was caring and didn't make me feel awkward about crying. He listened and didn't tell me straight up what the problem was, but let me slowly come to it on my own. In addition, I work in Charlottesville, so it takes me an exact hour to get to Harrisonburg, but Randy holds late hours (till 8:15pm) on Mondays. And when he was booked 3 Mondays in a row, he stayed later on a Wednesday so that I could see him. Very compassionate and easy to open up to. Would recommend to everyone.
