An otolaryngologist referred me to Ms Fahr, thinking that the pain I was experiencing in my ear was a referred pain from the tempero-mandibular joint. Following an extensive history and examination, Ms Fahr's conclusion was that the tempero-mandibular pain was referred pain from muscles in the neck. Exercises of those muscles plus suggestions about posture while reading resulted in a disappearance of the pain, which has not returned during the past seven months. My judgment is that Ms Fahr is thorough, experienced, and effective.
