Dr. Spiegle has been great with getting to the roots of the emotional abuse our girls experienced with their biological father. He has also helped us figure out how to have conversations with them without alienating their bio-dad, but also be as honest as we can with them about what they are experiencing. Our 10 year old loves talking with him and will often ask to talk with him when she gets stressed, and he will do his best to accommodate us when this happens. I'm pretty sure the reviews calling him a hired gun are from abusive parents, because that's exactly the same kinds of things that the girls bio-dad has been saying
